Terms of Service

Last updated 14 September 2026. By registering a Workspace or using Presentee as an invited employee, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Presentee is attendance software that verifies employee check-ins against a configured office location, approved device, and (optionally) a selfie, and gives a Company Admin tools to manage shifts, leave, corrections, and reporting.

2. Accounts and roles

A Workspace is created by a Company Admin, who invites employees and configures attendance policy. Each account is personal: you must not share your login, and you are responsible for activity under your account until you report it compromised through the Support page.

3. Billing

Registration is free for a Workspace’s first two active employees, with no card required. Each additional active employee is billed per our published rate (see Pricing), calculated on who is currently active — deactivating an employee stops that seat’s charge the same day. Prices may change; we will give notice before a change applies to an existing Workspace.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Presentee to collect attendance data on people you are not authorized to monitor as their employer.
  • Attempt to bypass geofence, device-approval, or selfie verification, including by falsifying location or tampering with the client app.
  • Access or attempt to access another Workspace’s data.
  • Use the service to violate applicable labor, privacy, or data protection law in your jurisdiction.

As the employer operating a Workspace, you are responsible for complying with local labor and privacy law regarding employee monitoring — including any notice or consent requirements — before enabling location or selfie verification.

5. Data ownership

Your Workspace’s data — employee records, attendance history, selfie evidence, configuration — belongs to your organization. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy, and do not claim ownership of it.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep Presentee available and will communicate planned maintenance where practical, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Presentee is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind beyond what applicable law requires.

7. Termination

You may stop using Presentee and request closure of your Workspace at any time through the Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates Section 4, with notice where practical.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Presentee is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including decisions made based on attendance data it records.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
